Garcia Grass - Binghamton Pre & Post show parties

#514 3 years, 7 months ago
For those of you who don't know, before the Furthur show in Binghamton there will be a pre show party at Terra Cotta Catering - 81 State St - about 300 yards from the main doors at the Arena. There will be a $5 cover that will INCLUDE your food - spiedie sammies, sausage sammies, and a couple different types of salads. Beverages will be available and music will be by one of the hottest bands in the northeast Garcia Grass who were brought together for a tribute to Jerry and Old & In The Way and had so much fun together they decided to give it a run whenever their schedules would allow. Show time starts at 4pm (doors at 3pm) and will go till about 6:45pm.

The after show party will be at Tranquil Bar/Bistro, an excellent little bistro just a couple blocks from the arena. Maybe a 3 minute drive with lights. There will be no cover, and again Garcia Grass will be playing. We'll have $2 drafts for the after show party, Sierra Nevada, Guinness, Magic Hat to name a few.

Come one come all....

If you're not yet familiar with these guys, have a look.

Garcia Grass is:
Mike Mizwinski on guitar
Anthony Hannigan on fiddle (but you really need to see this guy on mandolin with Hickory Project)
Kris Kehr on mandolin
Pappy Biondo on banjo (ask him to play Black Peter or Candyman)
Dylan Skursky on bass.

Hi Nupsdog,

Yes, I'll be at the Binghamton show so will probably see you there.

Garcia Grass was a real fun show in October, they are a great bunch of guys and very talented musicians. Unfortunately, I probably won't get to their pre or post show since I'll be taping Furthur that night but maybe.

Hey Kenny, we should be in town pretty early for Garcia Grass. Shoot me your # on FB and I'll call you when we get there.

By the way, tell Amy her jewelry did fantastic at the benefit!! I wanted to bid on something, but the prices went too high for my wallet!!
